How this is calculated
Each platform charges a percentage of the price plus a fixed amount per sale. The maths is price × sales × percentage, plus the fixed amount times the number of sales. That is why the fixed part hurts most when you sell many cheap products, and the percentage hurts most when you sell few expensive ones.
