An infoproduct is a digital product made of knowledge: a course, an ebook, a recorded mentorship, a template. Produced once and sold many times, with no inventory or shipping.
The term is common across Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets, where an entire ecosystem of platforms and affiliates grew around the word.
Its economics are unusual: the marginal cost of one more sale is close to zero, so profitability depends almost entirely on acquisition cost and on the fees the platform takes.
