Student onboarding

Student onboarding is the path from purchase to completing the first lesson successfully. It determines whether a course actually gets started or sits forgotten in a tab.

The first few minutes carry almost all of the drop-off risk. If access arrives late, if it is unclear where to begin, or if the first lesson is the densest, that is where students fall away.

What works best is reducing the first win to a single step: one short, concrete lesson with a visible result.
